TERRI'S TOYS & OTHER SILLY STUFF

Hello and welcome to my fun world of very silly animal characters.

When I started to design I wanted toys that reminded me of my own childhood so I’ve made lots of popular culture references from the 70s and 80s – especially my favourite tv shows and music. Bring back A-Team and Chips I say!

You may notice also that my toys are not gender specific – you won’t find masses of pink or blue in my work. My toys are for us animal lovers which can be anyone!

I like to use the softest, most tactile fabrics especially for babies. I use bamboo terry-towelling in my face-wipe puppets which is soft on kids’ faces and bamboo is very sustainable (a QI fact it grows about 3 cm per hour) – so it's great for the planet – hooray! I made the face-wipes into puppets too for those tricky kids that hate their face washed (don’t we all). I also use luxurious wool felts that absorb embroidery amazingly and make my hot water bottle covers more cosy to cuddle.

I hope you enjoy my silly world and it appeals to the animal lover in you. Whether it’s a gift for a child, a new baby, Christmas or for the big kid in you!

2017 CHRISTMAS DATES

Sunday 19 November - Solocraft, Prince of Wales pub, Brixton

We will transform the two floors of the venue into a craft winter wonderland, so avoid the queues, and make present shopping enjoyable this season by grabbing a drink at the bar and browsing the unique stalls that we have have handpicked for you. We have ploughed through hundreds of traders and have found the best in local handcrafted gifts, making Christmas shopping easy.

While you wander around the market there will be a collection of DJs and musicians performing, so if the shopping ever gets too much, you can take a break and enjoy the musical entertainment.

To keep the little ones occupied, there will be a kids entertainment corner, with toys and crafts, plus a doodle wall for everyone to get creative!

Join us at Prince of Wales, 467- 469 Brixton Rd, Brixton, London SW9 8HH on Sunday 19th November 12-5pm. Free sweets and gift planners for everyone!
